Indians intelligentsia is truly moronic and Sadistically Masochistic. It thinks irrationally illogical. It is confused obsessed with idea of pseudo excellence & misplaced honesty, The decisions on medical fraternity’s postgraduate training seats is a classical example.
India is producing about 50,000 Medical graduates every year. Present day medical graduate is an academic doctor without postgraduate training. The available seats are only one third of the graduate produced. Result is more and more backlog of medical graduates seeking postgraduate training.every year creating ever increasing competition. In the circumstances it is full time job of medical graduates to study for admission in postgraduate course spoiling their youth and precious enjoyable period of life. If married then living a life of a dependent unemployed family on the support of parents.
And no time administration, courts or politician ever think on solutions.
The USA produces about 20.000 medical graduates a year and every year they recruit 40,000 residents for specialist training. Thus they recruit roughly equal number of medical graduates from abroad attracting best talent pool from other countries. It is true of all developed Nations where the postgraduate training seats outnumber the medical graduates produced.
In India though the number of postgraduate training seats can be created manifold but either deliberately or due their innocence MCI and Government has created pathetic situation for entire medical fraternity.
The young medical graduates, when I see their pathetic condition and their determination to seek PG seat, it shakes me to the spine. They are my offspring’s the future of my country, human race and of this great Nation.
Why you all have become so sadistic that you all collectively want to torture and make them devoid of happiness of life and their existence. Every medical graduate has right for post-graduation training. Because today it is post graduation training which will make them a healer or a doctor, the MBBS is just a basic degree like in any other field.
We live in era of specialization, in this era to provide opportunity to each and every graduate to seek specialization in his desired field is our duty, if do not then we are guilty of offence of ” suppression of our generations to come”. You the Pseudo- Intelligent, highly Pseudo-judicious mind, pseudo-politicians, pseudo-intelligent are harming to the generation to come.
The courts of India are just assessing everything in terms of right or wrong in terms pre- settled principles, but the situation demands a progressive and futuristic view of society and of medical profession with deep understanding and spiritual experience which lack in present day society of India.
